Chatting with two Flying Doctors

The best Sunday ever!
Once upon a time there was... a very special Sunday afternoon. Hundreds of Flying Doctors fans came together on the fan club day. To do what? To chat with Lenore Smith (Kate) and Chris Stollery (Johnno) of course! Almost for two hours, Lenore and Chris are busy giving out their signatures to all the fans. Lenore takes her time for a chat. She is extremely nice!

Sometimes Guy is nice too!
They are at school together, they are best friends and both fan of Johhno. 'Because he is so shy.' D. and K. from B. tape all episodes on VCR and they watch them on Sunday. 'Guy is sometimes nice as well,' says K., 'like the time he was in that shed with Jackie, then he was a really nice guy.'

Flying Doctors, again?!
E. and S. are watching the pictures they don't have of Flying Doctors. They are both members of the fan club for about two years. E.: 'Sometimes they get a little irritated at home about my favourite show. Like my dad who likes to see something else on another channel (like sports!) and then I want to watch Flying Doctors of course! Luckily we have a VCR!'

He belongs to her
Absolutely sure that C. from U. doesn't miss one episode! She has been a fan of Kate for about five years. And of Geoff. But that is because he belongs to Kate, in the series!

What a cool pen pall!
M. from S. looks to the stage where Kate and Johnno have take a seat. Actually dr Chris is her favourite, but unfortunately she left the series. 'I like Kate as well,' she says. But most pictures in her album are of Chris. She has a pen pall in Australia and she sends her everything about the Flying Doctors. Cool!

I fall for that!
'As soon as they start acting romantic, I really fall for it!' S. from A. talks about the period that Kate and Geoff weren't married yet but they were already attracted to each other! From that moment on she has been a huge fan of Kate. And now that she saw her and talked to her, she became an even bigger fan! 'Johnno is really cool as well,' laughs S.

Just a nurse like Kate
'I already liked nursing, but because of Flying Doctors I'm now absolutely sure that I would like to become a nurse!' C. from S. has been a very big fan from the beginning. 'Especially of Kate!' she tells us. 'But also of Geoff and Johnno.' Her favourite episode? That's "Family" in which Kate and Geoff get a baby!

They are crazy about each other!
